Lightings Done Up

Woohoo! My lights are up and it's time for a new post update!
Was actually complaining last week about the dinner table lights hanging from different lengths of wire cables and was really an eyesore.

Below pic will show you 2 out of 3 of the dinner table hanging lamps, not very nice because the wrappings are not removed yet. And here comes the very 1st problem, 1 of the 3 lamps has a missing inner glass core (works like a 1-way glass where it looks solid when the bulbs are turn off, and illuminates nicely when they are on). My interior designer told me that the electrician had informed earlier that THAT particular glass core was cracked when delivered and had to be changed.

Here is one with the dinner table lamps and downlights on, of course you can see the cove lights now (since it is switched on). Supposed to make the overall ambience more cosy.

And here is one without flash on. Looks definitely more appealing now. See how that very 1 lamp is brighter than the other 2? Yupz, THAT's the 1 with the cracked glass core.

Lets move to the kitchen, the bottom cabinets and kitchen top are not up yet, since carpentery will begin only end of the month. Mongmong and I chose the lights cause it looks more modern rather that those traditional round plastic covered lights.

Lets just take a look at the below picture, doesn't something just stand (or rather stick) out funny? Yupz, the DAMN LONG casing of the bathroom light. Although the shape and style are the same as the kitchen lights, this 1 is extremely special, like as if it's "erected" or something.

Ya... probably because people bathe in this particular location.

Next, we move on, out to the living room.
Sorry for the dark picture, the sunlight outside was a bit glaring and I had to take the pic without flash to highlight the next few pics.

And then, PRESTO! There was light!

1 more without the flash, doesn't it look cosy?
And to think this is in the day, shall make a trip back here when darkness falls.

The Study Room with light affixed.
Somehow, Mongmong and I have always felt this room is the nicest in terms of the color tone and the well-laid trucking of the air-con.

I think my earlier post did not bring out the Indigo Mist color chosen for this bedroom. I have deliberately took the pic without the flash to bring out a clearer picture of the Indigo Mist color.

Last but not least, Mongmong and my love nest, also taken without the flash to show the 2 colors we have chosen, Love and Sweetness, clearly.

Guess it's about time to make a trip over to our home again for a view of the lightings at night.
Ciaoz!

Painting Done

Yo Peeps!

Decided to pop back Mongmong and my place today to see the renovation progress. Found the front door grills already painted in Mahogany color and went in to see if the rest of the house is also painted.

Here you see the front entrance before any painting done.

This is it with the color Bisque.
Probably not able to see much of a difference because I took the shot with flash on.

Oh just ignore the guy sitting near the window, he is just waiting for instructions from his employer where to head off next after painting our front door grills.

Another view of the whole Living Room & partial Doorway from the Study Room.

We stepped into the kitchen and found the kitchen base done up. In this picture you see Mongmong squatting down to measure the space allocated for our washing machine. Don't mind her un-glam posture.

Finished kitchen base.

Painted Study Room in Frosty Blue.

Painted Bedroom in Indigo Mist.

Finally the Master Bedroom.
We chose the color Love for the wall behind our bed and the rest of the walls to be covered in Sweetness.

So lovey dovey right?
>_<

We still found some uneven paint surfaces, probably because the paint coat was too thin. Could actually see a slight tint of the base white before the actual colors were painted on. Will be pointing that out to the interior designer.

That's about it for this post regarding Painting.
Next post would be about the Lightings.
